Make time for yourself…
I hear this a lot. In fact, I hear it all the time.
Sometimes I take it on board, other times I regress into the mentality of ‘if I just push through it’ll work out’.
It never does. Want to know why?
Because time for ME is IMPORTANT.
It’s not lazy, it’s not neglectful of my business, family, or friends, and it’s definitely NOT selfish.
Making time for me is about my mind, body, and spirit.
→ Am I mentally handling things?
→ Am I checking my body is capable of handling things still?
→ Am I spiritually aligned with my life?
Ways I make time for myself are:
✓ Playing guitar
✓ Skincare routine
✓ Clean foods
✓ Gym
✓ Yoga
✓ Listening to podcasts
Most importantly, sleep. Sleep and rest are the BIGGEST healers for me.
As most of you know, I have CFS/ME and Fibromyalgia.
Rest and listening to my body are where it’s at! As well as regular exercise, good diet, and surrounding myself with the right people (family & friends).
