We all know who our ideal clients are, what their pain points are, and how we solve them.

Creating content can be considered easy for some… however, it’s one thing to create a pretty picture, and another to post with purpose.

Here are some tips to keep on top of your content creation:

→ Batch create your posts when kids are at school/asleep

You may have heard people talk about ‘batch creating’ their content. Not only is this a super productive way to create your content, but it means you only have to do it once a week (so you’re on top of trends), and on a day-to-day basis you can engage and focus more on income-generating activities.

→ Use templates to maintain consistent branding

Nobody cares that you’ve used a Canva template. What does matter is how you brand it. It needs to be in your brand colours, fonts, and using your brand imagery. Otherwise, what’s the point? I’m not going to resonate with it. I follow you because I want to know about YOUR content and expertise.

→ Repurpose your content across platforms

YES! You canuse the same content across different platforms. One thing you need to consider is your brand voice. If you were to post on Instagram, your brand voice would be different to that on LinkedIn because that is a professional platform and not a casual-scroll platform. Think about WHO you’re talking to. But use the same content, 100%!

→ Include personal stories to build connections

I struggle with this myself because I naturally overshare (thanks ADHD!). Linking your posts and offerings to a solution is one thing, but if you can relate it to a personal story… and then make it funny… you’re onto a winner. → Always include a clear call-to-action

It’s all very well sharing content and giving people information to share your knowledge and expertise, but what happens next? How do I book in with you? Where can I get more information? GIVE THEM A CTA!

If you use the 10 hooks or 7 days of content ideas above, keep these content creation tips in mind, add your ‘sign off’, and use 5-8 optimised hashtags to reach those non-followers who NEED your offerings.
